Just so you know, the Story Thread should consist only of posts that are parts of the story itself. Check they're okay with a moderator (Aspera or I) then post. There is a 20,000 character limit, it seems, so big ones should be split in two.

Past tense, third person please. If something is found to be out of place (wonky stardates, stuff like that) they may be altered or removed, but we will check with the initial poster beforehand.

I'm sorry my intro post is huge, if you want to take less time reading it, the description and comparison of Bainbridge and Deliverance is not really that essential to the plot, but it's interesting from a geeky galactic history point of view.

And don't use the bridge yet, it doesn't arrive until Tuesday.

And yes, this is six months before we met the Tesseract and all that. So don't refer to past events from the future. Also, you don't have a limit to number of played characters but please, do check with people before adding them. We can't have twelve beta-shift Tactical officers!

Actually, we can retcon that. If you joined the crew upon out r first RP session in SL, ignore it, you'll have joined it here. Retroactive continuity is fun.

And this isn't in realtime. Most forum-based RPGs take about a month to get through a week shipboard time or less.

Was a joke.  Couldn't do any building even if I had to.  But it will be fun, and give me a chance to cover a few planet-side things that I had in mind.
